I'm back from Korea, Seoul!!!
Oh gosh, should I say, I definitely would go there again!!!
Loves Seoul~ <3
Day 1: 04 May 2010 - Flight out from Singapore...
Took Cathay Pacific out from Singapore - Hong Kong - Seoul.
Shots taken while at Changi Airport...
Shots taken while onboard the flight to Hong Kong
and also at Hong Kong International Airport...
The picture of me alone above was taken along the
stretch of fast-food area at Hong Kong International
Airport while waiting for our transit to Seoul...
Day 2: 05 May 2010 - Reached Seoul...
Shots taken while onboard the plane to Seoul...
Reached Seoul @ about 05:00am in the early morning...
Look at the number of people arriving Seoul in the early
morning... and we took the monorail to the Arrivals
for Immigration Clearance and baggage collection...
Bought the Seoul City Pass Plus (T-money card a.k.a
Singapore's ezlink card) at GS25 Mart located at Incheon
Airport just outside the information counter...
At 06.30am, we took the early morning bus to our hotel,
Ibis Myeongdong Hotel...
The building on the left looks unique, so I took a quick shot
at the bus while on our way to Ibis Myeongdong Hotel...
Reached the hotel at around 07:00am...
Left our luggage at the hotel since we couldn't checked in
at such early morning...
Our first stop: Namdaemun Market
But too bad... we couldn't locate Namdaemun Market,
although I believed that we are nearby, maybe outside of
Namdaemun Market... and since we couldn't find Namdaemun
Market, we decided to settle our breakfast somewhere...
Our breakfast... the portions were too big for the 3 of us...
and we struggled to finish up the whole food...
Total damage: 52,000 won
Second stop: Gyeongbokgung Palace
We walked alot of 冤枉路 cos it was our first time
free & easy in Korea, thus, being so unfamiliar with
their roads and directions, we actually walked from
subway line 2 to subway line 3... I felt like I was doing the
3.6km walk... nevertheless, we reached after
a super duper tiring long walk...
Guess what we saw at the subway station??? There's
a large LCD stationed around the station... you can touch
the screen and choose how to get from point A to point B...
Some sort of a direction guide on the subway trains...
At the Gyeongbokgung Palace...
Admission ticket: 3,000 won

Finally found vending machines that sell drinks!!!
We walked so much and there's no food stalls or
drink stalls around!!! Darn thirsty!!! >_<
Back from the Palace, and we sat at Starbucks for close
to 2 hours just to wait for check in!!!
I had already wanted to go Myeongdong since
check-in was another 2 hours away... -_-""
Third Stop: Myeongdong Shopping
Ok, so here we are, fresh out from our hotel, after a hot bath,
and a clean change of clothes... it was close to 4-5pm when we
went Myeongdong shopping... :s
Bought lots of stuffs at Etude House, see above...
They had tonnes of cosmetic houses such as
Etude, Face Shop, Skin Food, Missha, Laneige, Tony Moly,
Innisfree, Nature's Republic and Holika Holika...
Oh, their Watsons are not everywhere one... not like Singapore!!!
And their Watsons and convenience stores don't sell
medicines!!! Medicines are only sold at "Pharmacy"...
Our dinner... at KMC... some sort of a fast-food thing...
I don't like to eat fast-food when I'm overseas...
But this fast-food seems to be Korea style, and the shop
name is called KMC... which I assumed it's called
Korean Made Chicken!!!
Fourth stop: Cheonggyecheon Stream & Dongdaemun
We stopped by at the stream while on our way to Dongdaemun...
It's so beautiful...
See the building on the left??? It's a baseball court...
Looks fun though... We wanna go Dongdaemun Wholesale
Shopping Centre... but it was closed at 5-6pm... hence,
we missed it... so we end up shopping at helloAPM only...
did browse through a few shopping malls, but really nothing much...
*shrugs*
